I’m taking a few days away from the internet in order to write and practice new fiddle songs and maybe–maybe!!!–sit on the dock with my morning coffee or afternoon iced tea or evening glass of wine.

I’ll return this weekend with wedding photos—my French Friend Janou’s daughter is going to be married on Saturday, which means lot of celebrating and merriment on the lake this weekend!

On Sunday I meet My Montana Friend Kathy’s new grandchild, who is only a few weeks old.   And then there is band practice, a highlight every week.

Sunday is also the three hour finale of The Bachelorette and I have no television.  I’m hoping one of my friends will be going out that night and will let me sit in his/her empty living room and watch the show, which will be corny and dramatic and filled with commercials but I wouldn’t want to miss.

Otherwise I’ll stay home and write, which isn’t a bad idea either.
