This was on my flight from Providence to Baltimore last Tuesday afternoon:
Yes, it is a turkey. It didn’t look frozen. It was–obviously–not in a shopping bag.
It was carried by a man. A man traveling by himself. A man traveling by himself with his turkey.
Maybe he won it.
Maybe it was a gift. A surprise goodbye present.
Surely there are no turkey shortages in the USA right now.
I was so glad I had my camera in my purse. Because, really, how often do you see a turkey in the overhead bin?
I’ve seen people board planes with their styrofoam coolers filled with dry ice and live lobsters. That’s pretty common in New England.
But a turkey?
