We still have power, though the storm is raging outside. The weather pundits say we have 16 more hours of this, but so far the trees are still standing and the driveway remains clear (except for a foot of snow and some impressive drifts).
Coffee from the Keurig never tasted so good as it did early this morning. It was still dark when I woke up, so I couldn’t see if there was any damage outside. But with a giant mug of caffeine in my hand I didn’t care.
We’re in the worst of it now (at 8:20 AM) and the wind is wild. We’re halfway through and so far so good.
