ghosts of halloween past

Remember the mystery box I received from Amazon last month?  Inside was an Epson photo scanner.  My winter project.  I will be scanning the family photo albums, Banjo Man’s slides and a box of black and white photos from my  grandmother’s albums and putting them on cd’s.  Those smelly moldy photo albums must go!

It’s easy to do and addictive.  Really addictive.  Hence some of these Halloween pictures from when the kids were little and were content to visit 7 or 8 houses and then end up at the Beshirs for hot chocolate.

1981

(I was 29 at the time, and yes, I am wearing a bonnet with removable cow horns.  Also check out the big sister on the left making sure her little brother’s rabbit ears stick up for the picture!)

1986

1986

Told you this was addictive.

Happy Halloween.  Hope you haven’t eaten all the candy yet.

1982

This was the  year I sewed a 76-piece E.T. costume.  The ladybug costume still exists and was worn by various children for 20+ years.  In fact, it’s still in my basement.  “Miss Piggy” here insisted on having a bosom at age 2.
