He would have been 89 today.
We never stop missing him.
How he would have laughed at this scene at the Cousins Weekend!
With birthdays two days apart, Sarge and Grandpa often shared a party. My dad’s favorite cake was made of Dunkin Donuts!
Speaking of birthdays, Sarge is turning 31 soon…
And I’ll bet he wishes he could have a doughnut cake.
I need an excuse to make one.
Thinking of you today. I understand. Loss doesn’t get easier, it just gets different. Wish I knew how to make a heart or bouquet of roses out of punctuation marks.
So many memories. All happy ones. We were so lucky to have him in our lives. Put flowers on his grave this morning.. Love Mom
Your father, Don, knew how to live life to the fullest! What a great role model for us all!!! He would have loved to have been at the Cousin Gathering! (Who says he wasn’t) He would have had tally marks for everyone and have a doughnut cake to celebrate!!!
Sending My Love,
DMP
This for Tony. It is wonderful that you had such a fine grandpa and that he had you. He was special. We hope you had a good birthday. Our anniversary is the same day. 53 years. Keep on making good memories. Looking back on good and interesting times keeps the road ahead open to more. Aunt M.
