Jeff is coming over this morning and we are going to try out some new songs he’s found. I’ve been listening to the songs on YouTube and hope to have the melodies memorized before we play.  He has borrowed a mandolin and is anxious to fool around with it, plus we want to hear how the new resonator sounds with other instruments.  I’m worried that it will be too loud.

I get a kick out of singing with Jeff.  He has a good “lead singer” voice that is fun to harmonize with.

I almost want to say, “Hurray for winter!”
