memorial day, 2021

Posted on May 31, 2021 by is there any more pie?

This flag hung over a Marine base in the Philippines, where my father served as a medic, during World War II. It is now on display at the World War II museum in New Orleans, LA.

Rest in peace.

With reverence…in your father’s memory, and for all who made the ultimate sacrifice for the life, the freedom we enjoy…God Bless America!
