great big sigh of relief

Yesterday afternoon I learned that last week’s blood test showed that my “tumor marker” number had gone down again.

What does this mean, you ask?

It’s all good.

It means that my newest treatment (started at the end of March) is working to slow down the progression of the cancer.

Hurray! I don’t have to worry about anything–or leave the lake early–for months, until October 27 for the next scan in Boston. How great is that!

Please feel free to party with me.

Fantastic news, Kristine! September and early October are typically among the most enjoyable months of the year – the beauty of fall; not too cold yet.

  3. Thanks, Gary. September has always been my favorite month and I’m so glad I can spend it here at the lake again.
