Many of you reading this know that Banjo Man is having a knee procedure (aka surgery, but not a knee replacement) on Wednesday.
He is quite happy about it.
(As you can see, I have not perfected taking pictures with my I-phone).
On Tuesday we drove north to meet with the surgeon and sign papers. Many instructions were given and questions answered.
Banjo Man always has a lot of questions.
Then, instead of driving straight home, we detoured to Wickford, a historic small town on the bay. The movie “Witches of Eastwick” was inspired by this location, by the way.
And our lunches:
I hadn’t had a lobster roll in twenty years, so I took half of it home to eat for lunch today.
It was a cool, sunny, brilliant autumn day. Perfect for sightseeing. We pretended we were still on our road trip and sampling a bit of New England as if we had never seen it before.
Tomorrow? The knee surgery.
He’ll be fine. Stay tuned.
Story Man (Son #2) is here for the week and is finishing up the yard work before winter. Sarge arrives Friday night, as does Thomas (of Cousins Weekend fame!!).
We’re going to nurse Banjo Man back to health and eat a **lot** of lasagna.
Wishing you the best Banjo Man
