I’ve been busy, hanging out with the Funny Grandson. We’re spending our days together while his parents are at work. We have made blueberry pancakes, shared bowls of strawberries, played games, watched episodes of Star Wars Clones, taken walks and played many, many rounds of “treasure hunt” at the neighborhood playground.
We are having a great time. Even though he cheats at Candy Land.
On Sunday we’re having a Super Party. I bought the 1978 Superman movie (I’ve always been a big Superman fan), delivered by Amazon today. We’re going to eat Super Snacks and–his idea– have Super Drinks (lemonade has been requested) and have a Super Good Time.
“Party Grandma” is just getting warmed up…
You definitely are the “Party Grandma”. And Funny Grandson is adorable. Love the camo play clothes… my boys had 80s/90s versions.
I can picture your boys in camo with stick rifles! Great fun to “play Army man”, must be embedded in the male psyche. 🙂
You would have made a great Kindergarten teacher, More Pie! They would have loved you.💖
You have your father’s childlike spirit! He is smiling down at you two!🙏
You are the one with the patience for 20 five-year old kids! I can only manage ONE!!!!
Waving to Pat and Ellie, great to see you here!
I love the name “Party Grandma”! That’s what a kid really needs in a grandparent!
What beautiful memories you’re creating for you and Funny Grandson.
Pat, I know your name will be “Anything Goes Grandma”! 🙂
I’ve taught him to cheer, “Party Grandma!!!” whenever I have a good idea. 🙂
Sharon and Pat, you two need to do a road trip out West this summer. You could be part of the Kristine’s annual Dock Party!!! 💃🍷🎶🍹🎤⛱🎈🎉🎸🎼🎻🎹🎺🍻
