This morning Banjo Man drove me north to have my annual mammogram and ultrasound.
It’s been almost five years since that scary time of testing and pronouncements of cancer and I have these tests every year.
The winter of 2020 was no picnic either, though thankfully advanced tests and a biopsy gave negative results.
But on this rainy March morning the news was good. Nothing suspicious cited and “see you next year”!
Banjo Man had to get back to his office, so we didn’t have lunch at a great Thai restaurant Harley Chick and I found. But that was okay. I didn’t mind celebrating with a turkey-avocado sandwich!

As Banjo Man said, “Now we’re all clear for another Idaho summer!”
Damn right.

Great news!
Thank you, Cynthia. Such a big relief this year. :)
Wonderful !!
Hope to see you in Lincoln in 2024!
Congratulations dear friend!! As they said in those old cowboy flicks…Westward ho!!!!
Yeehaw!
Excellent news, including the promise of another special Idaho summer!
Thanks, Gary. Thirty-six days until yet another road trip. Let’s hope we don’t run into another Montana blizzard so we can say hi along the way.
I had no doubt that you would have good news from your tests! Dance of Joy!
We have sunny blue skies here in Hope today! Hope misses you and looking forward to summertime fun!
You are loved!
