I’ve been trying to plan our road trip.
We’re taking a much different route this year, which is exciting for me. But Banjo Man is in the middle of cataract removal (one eye fixed last week, one eye to be fixed next week) and I am still dealing with the “almost frozen” shoulder.
Physical therapy is helping, but will I be ready to drive across the country in two weeks?
Will Banjo Man be able to drive?
We’re feeling optimistic, but I’m also planning for short days on the road with lots of sightseeing.
For instance, I want a photo op with the Largest Basket in the World.
Doesn’t everyone?
Banjo Man wants to follow the trail of the Mountain Men in Wyoming.
I have a cemetery to visit in West Virginia.
And then there are our favorite rest stops, the giant antique malls.
Ohio has a lot of ’em.
We were going to buy a new cooler today, in honor of a new summer and a new road trip. I’d heard that the Yeti coolers were the best. We could keep our water and yogurt and fresh fruit and vegetables cool all day and all night and all the next day.
And then we saw the Yeti coolers. And the prices of them.
If you have $299.00 for a cooler, click here.
I think we’re going to stick with styrofoam.
Sounds like an AARP road trip. Good Luck!
Take good notes so Story Man can write the screenplay, starring Jack Nicholson and Shirley Maclaine! 🙂
Hmmm, Yeti cooler? And I just finished viewing the Star Wars quilt blog….do I sense a theme here!
