Last Monday my daughter-in-law took DMP and I to a town north of Round Rock. Georgetown is one of those beautiful little Texas towns with its downtown built around a center square and a courthouse plopped in the middle of it.
We checked out one of the wine stores but decided we didn’t need to start drinking at 10:30 AM, so we bought each other funny dish towels instead.
Who doesn’t like a funny dish towel????

We shopped in several antique stores. I resisted buying another vintage tablecloth. It just about killed me.

The window of the candy store. I bought a red basket shaped like a cowboy boot. Everyone else was jealous. Or pretended they were.
It was warm, it was humid, it was Texas! Somehow we managed to shop despite the weather. Fun, fun, fun!
Sounds like a really fun day… even if you didn’t get new tattoos. I love that red drop-leaf table so much I pinned it on my Projects board. Project one thousand, six hundred and seventy-two.
Don’t tell Dr. B!!!!!
